Laura is a Court Roster family and divorce mediator, as well as a small claims mediator for the 6th Judicial Court.   She is a Family Circle Conference Facilitator for the Iowa City Housing Authority.  She serves on the board of Mediation Services of Eastern Iowa (MSEI), a non-profit organization.

Education:  Laura graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.  She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  She earned a Master's in Education at Stanford University, where she also received her teaching credential.

Mediation Training:  General and Family Mediation (40 hrs.); Small Claims (6hrs); Domestic Violence (8hrs.); Cultural Diversity and Conflict (3hrs); Alternatives to Violence (4 hrs.); Family Circle Conferencing (3hrs.); Changes to Iowa Code - Family Support Guidelines (8hrs) - All training 2008-2010.
