ExperienceJon Wagner has over 12 years of mediating experience with more than 200 hours of training. He has worked in the social work field for over 20 years and currently offers a Mediation Certification training program through Indian Hills Community College. He approaches mediation in a non-directive, non-agreement driven fashion. With this approach, agreements are reached through a process of discussing a wide range of issues, including feelings. Agreements reached in this way are more likely to last and the participants are better able to go on with their lives. Children certainly benefit from this approach.
