Experience:
Barbara Musgrove, BA, is a former Educator, Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist, and Social Worker. She has been a trained mediator for 15 years. Barb developed, implemented and coordinated the “Choices” victim/offender program for Iowa County. She recruited, trained and supervised volunteers for that program. Barb worked with adolescents and parents in various types of situations. In Muscatine, she initiated and coordinated the development and on going implementation of a teen center. She worked, both as a volunteer and paid staff, to assist young parents and their children develop life skills and resolve problems. She was a volunteer advisor for a group of adolescents as they chartered and implemented a Key Club, which is the high school version of Kiwanis. Barb also initiated and coordinated the volunteer small claims program for Iowa County and continues to mediate small claims cases.

Fees for Service:
The standard fee is $55 per hour/person, and payable at of each session. There is no charge for information and initial consultation. A sliding fee scale &/or payment arrangements are available when necessary. A $20/person administrative fee, to cover the cost of materials, printing, phone calls, postage, etc. is due at the the first session.
