"I love the work I do because of what I see happen for people in mediation.  They take control of their own lives and futures.  And, when children are involved, I know they are so much happier and better off when mom and dad are working together.  They are spared the fighting that comes with litigation."

"There are two simple beliefs that drive my practice.  First, absolutley no one wants to be in the stress of personal conflict.  They yearn for peace and happiness.  Second, the people involved in conflict are the only ones who know the best way out."

"Given those beliefs, my job is to help people hear one another, clarify understandings between them and consider each other's point of view.  When that happens, as it most always does, the experts of their own lives fashion futures together that work for them and those around them."
